FAQs

What are the working hours and attendance policies?

At Pretect, the standard working hours for the main office are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday, including a one-hour break. However, for certain departments and project-based sites, working hours may vary depending on client requirements and contractual obligations, with specific schedules communicated by the assigned supervisor or Project lead. All employees are expected to report on time and comply with their assigned schedules. Attendance is monitored through designated systems, and any lateness, absence, or early departure must be communicated and approved in advance.

What are the rules on leaves and holidays?

At Pretect, leave entitlements and holiday schedules are governed by the applicable provisions of the Qatar Labour Law, if specified in the employment contract. Employees are entitled to a minimum of three weeks (21 days) of paid annual leave after completing one year of continuous service. Sick leave is granted with proper medical documentation, with paid sick leave entitlement of up to two weeks at full pay. Official public holidays observed in Qatar—such as Eid, National Day, and Sports Day—are granted with full pay. All leave requests must be submitted in advance through the proper channel and are subject to departmental approval based on operational needs.

What happens after my probation period?

After successfully completing your probation (usually 3 to 6 months), your performance will be evaluated. Upon confirmation, your employment continues as per your contract terms.
